Working with the Iraca palm fiber...
When I was roadtripping through the North of Colombia, I found a cute little village where literally everybody was working with 'Palma de Irica'. This is a natural and super strong palmfiber. They make all kind of products of this palmfiber.
I fell in love with the bags... Of course, because I love bags. The way they make it, is so interesting! The base is metal and the rest is palmfiber.
I decided to let make the bags in parts, so I can finish it myself in Ibiza. Way easier to transport. Also I don't like to transport 'air', so this was the best solution. Good activity to make me calm (you need some patience for it).
