Wayuu XL Bag – Single Thread

A statement piece with a story to tell. ✨

Handcrafted by indigenous Wayuu women in La Guajira, Colombia, each WAYUU XL bag is a unique piece of traditional craftsmanship. Woven by hand with care, patience and exceptional skill, these bags celebrate the rich heritage of the Wayuu tribe.

This particular bag is crafted using a single-thread crochet technique, considered one of the most traditional and intricate weaving techniques in Wayuu craftsmanship. This method requires extra time, precision and skill, resulting in a finer, more refined weave and an exceptionally strong finish. The craftsmanship behind this technique makes this bag a more exclusive piece, reflected in its price.

Traditionally used by the Wayuu people as travel bags, the generous XL size makes it perfect for carrying all your everyday essentials and more. From beach days and summer getaways to everyday adventures, this bag is the perfect companion for a laid-back Ibiza lifestyle.

Every bag is individually handmade, making each piece truly unique. No two bags are exactly alike — yours is one of a kind.
